This section provides rules for surgery, pathology, epidemiology,
virology, and a host of other specialiations. Social medicine is also
covered, including psychological disfunction and treatment.
This section also covers a typical ER operating room set-up (equipment)
and will set through several common surgical procedures from beginning to end.
- Emergency Medicine
The branch of medicine dealing with conditions requiring immediate
medical or surgical intervention. This frequently occurs in the field,
and often as the result of an accident.
- Surgery
The branch of medicine dealing with manual and operative procedures
for correction of deformities and defects, repair of injuries, and diagnosis
and cure of certain diseases. Details TBD.
Surgical Procedures.
- Pathology
The branch of medicine concerned with the study of the nature and cause
of disease, which involves changes in structure and function. Pathology
can specialize into fields including, but not limited to: cellular, clinical,
molecular, and surgical. Details TBD.
- Epidemiology
The branch of medicine concerned with defining and explaining the
interrelationsships of factors that determine disease frequency
and distribution. Details TBD.
